Abstract

This study measures the components of the undercarriage that have experienced wear/damag. Measurement aims to determine the wear value of components, and also to be able to ascertain the time period when the component is experiencing severe wear, so that it can anticipate when to buy the right spare parts. The research method is carried out by observing the components of the undercarriage and looking for the main causes of wear, after that measuring the component wear by using percent worn chart, then after getting the percent worn value, then calculating the time period of the component in order to know when the component can last before experiencing severe wear. The results of the calculation of the component time periode can be concluded that the greater the component wear value, the less time it will produce. Component wear is an important factor for determining whether or not a component can last a long time.
