Ana Silvia Pratiwi / A310130034. IMAGE ANALYSIS OF PRAYER POETRY COLLECTION DO’A UNTUK ANAK CUCU By W.S RENDRA USING STILISTIC APPROACHES AND LEARNING IMPLEMENTATION IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL CLASS X. Thesis of Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Surakarta Muhammadiyah University. February, 2019. This study is aimed to: (1) describe the structure of poetry that is contained in the poetry of WS. Rendra Do’a untuk Anak Cucu (2) describe the types of imagery used and the meaning contained in the WS Rendra Poetry Collection Do’a untuk Anak Cucu (3) describe the implementation of WS Rendra's poetry collection Do’a untuk Anak Cucu on learning process at Ten Grades of Senior High Sachool. This study was using a qualitative approach. This research data is in the form of words, sentences and meaning expressions in a collection of poetry, a collection of poetry Do’a untuk Anak Cucu by W.S Rendra. The source of this research data comes from a collection of poetry Do’a untuk Anak Cucu by W.S Rendra, the first edition of the revised edition, June 2016 and other sources that support this research. This data collection technique uses library and random techniques. The analysis of this study is to use structural analysis. The validity of the data uses triangulation theory. Based on the analysis obtained as a whole the collection of poetry is more dominant highlighting a number of things, namely: (1) the condition of Indonesian bureaucracy seen in the outbreak of the 1998 uprising, dissatisfaction with the government, and natural disasters that hit the country, (2) author's testimony poetry provides an overview and other side for the reader so the visual imagery findings is dominate (3) the results of this study is collaborated with literary learning at ten grades of senior high school which is adjusted to KD 4. 17 Writing poetry with attention to the building elements (theme, diction, language style, imagery, structure, appearance) in the 2013 curriculum.
