Abstract

Currently the reporting system of practicum of Informatics Engineering Education, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta (PTI UMS), still using a manual reporting system, namely by collecting practicum reports to lecturers or laboratory assistants who are then signed (Acc), so there are weaknesses in practicum reporting that can be minimized. The purpose of this study is to present a web-based lab reporting system as a medium for reporting practicum activities that have been undertaken by students. This system is used to facilitate student activities during practical activities and facilitate lecturers in storing practicum documents and evaluating practicum reports. The method used is Research and Development (RnD). With the development model using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Develoment, Implementation, Evaluate). Data collection techniques are carried out using interviews and literature review. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative technique, where this analysis is used to manage data from students and practicum supervisors. This system has 2 access rights including the admin who also functions as a lecturer to input data on the web and students to access the web for practicum reporting. The product developed contains features such as uploading files, practicum schedules, courses, practicum data, input values for practicum, students, and student attendance. The research results obtained from the web-based practicum reporting system are feasible to use. Based on the results of the assessment of media experts get a score of 70% and a score of students by 70%. These results are included in the acceptable category that uses the SystemUsability Scale (SUS) scoring.
