Abstract

Psychological well-being is a concept of a healthy mental state and can function optimally. Adolescents with good psychological well-being conditions are able to feel happy, can solve problems effectively and avoid stress. This study aims to understand and describe psychological well-being in adolescents with mothers of Indonesian migrant workers (PMI). Informants in this study amounted to 4 people selected using the snowball sampling method with the criteria of adolescents aged 17-20 years and have mothers who work as PMI. Data collection using the interview method. The results of this study are although the dimensions of psychological well-being of adolescents show good quality in almost all aspects, there are factors that make adolescents have poor psychological wellbeing qualities, these factors are social support factors, adolescent attachment to mothers , and family functioning
