Abstract
This study aims to determine and analyze trust as a moderation variable on the effect of risk perception on online purchasing decisions in Tokopedia. This study uses primary data by distributing questionnaires to respondents, namely students of the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta, totaling 130 students. Sampling is done using the Non-Probability Sampling method and the sampling technique using Purposive Sampling. The analysis in this study used a moderation regression analasis test. The results of this study indicate that risk perception has a negative and significant effect, trust has a positive and significant effect, and the interaction between risk perception and trust as a moderating variable has a significant negative effect, with a coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) of 0.164 which means that together independent variables explain the purchase decision by 16.4%, while the remaining 83.6% is influenced by other variables.
