Abstract

The growth of the labor force and people working in the Pekalongan Residence in 2014-2018 experienced instability. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of inflation, GRDP, average length of schooling, and wages on employment in the Pekalongan Residency in 2014-2018. using a panel data regression model with secondary data obtained from several sources. The results of this study indicate that the variable inflation affects the employment of the Pekalongan Residence. The GRDP variable, average length of schooling and wages had no effect in the Pekalongan Residency. Suggestions that can be given in this study are the government needs to increase economic growth and future research should describe the occurrence of inflation, so that inflation can increase employment.
