Abstract

Sport is a process that utilizes physical activity. Movement in sports activities can make the body healthy so that the body and soul become strong. Therefore, sports education is also learned in school in order to the students become accustomed to do exercise. There are many types of sports to do in the school, among of them are large balls and small balls. They have certain meanings, methods, and techniques. But, in SD Negeri 2 Cabeankunti the instructional material is more minimal than the practice so that it can cause both minor and severe injuries. Understanding the material is also very necessary as a provision in doing the written exam in the school. From these problems, Android-based technology is made as instructional media in the form of educational games. The method in this study uses interview conducted with the sports teachers to find out the theory of learning to play large and small balls. This educational game was created by using construct 2 which was changed become an android application using phonegap, so it can be played on smartphones. This research produced an educational game containing large balls and small balls that can be used on Android-based the blackbox test shows that the icons and buttons can run as expected, then the usability test shows that the percentage is 88.68% taken from 32 respondents who stated that this big ball and small ball game is interesting and fun so that it is suitable for use and in accordance with students.
