Abstract

The objective of this study is to describe the context and textual outputs in the discourse on Opinion Rubric of Hadila Magazine in July-October 2018 edition. The design of this research is qualitative. The data is in the form of sentences as well as layouts, pictures or illustrations that support the discourse on the Opinion Rubric of Hadila Magazine in July-October 2018 edition. The technique of collecting the data were documents, referrals, and interviews. In analysing the data used agitation and matching method. The results of the context analysis in this study are first, each article published was chosen because the information presented was still warm. Second, the writer's article is someone who has expertise in accordance with the field occupied by him and in accordance with the article which written. Third, articles are published in order to provide information to the public. Fourth, the article was published in Opinion Rubric of Hadila Magazine was no match between the magazine's theme and the article's title. The results of the analysis of the first text output, the layout used in the article is two full pages accompanied by appropriate illustrations and supports the topic of the article discussed. Second, there are two articles that use subtitles and two articles that were not use subtitles. Third, articles that select structure their units through paragraphs that support each other paragraphs. Fourth, the topic discussed in the discourse entitled "Literacy Movement Against Hoaxes" is a healthy literacy movement to fight hoaxes. The topic discussed in the discourse entitled "Still Becoming a Kindergarten School" is the public's view of a kindergarten School. The topic discussed in the discourse entitled "Internal Auditors and Good Governance" is the task and shift in the role of internal auditors. The topic discussed in the discourse "Online Assessment, Smart Alternative" is the benefit of using online assessment. This research was also implemented in the learning of Indonesian Language class VIII KD 4.1 Summing up the content of the news (developing and motivating) that was read and heard. Indicators of competency achievement determine the topic of the news text that is read or heard and concludes the news text.
