Abstract

In order to streamline public health services regarding the distribution of service center locations, it is necessary to consider spatial aspects. with the intention to be efficient and equitable distribution. Research of analyzes the influence of social economic factors on the use of health centers in the sub-district of Grogol Sukoharjo regency has the aim of (1) Analyzing the utilization of health center services in the study area, (2) analyzing the influence of educational factors, income and distance to the use of health centers . The study was conducted by survey method. Sampling uses a stratified random sampling approach with strata of sex. The results showed (1) the utilization rate of puskesmas in Grogol subdistrict was in the low category, because only 13 people visited the puskesmas 5-6 times or more than 6 times per year, they came from one village and were aged more than 35 years with elementary school education background , working as a laborer or private employee (2) educational factors affect the frequency of visits with a value (Sig.) 0.014 <0.05, income factors do not affect the frequency of visits with a value (Sig) 0.789> 0.05, the distance factor does not affect the frequency of visits with a value (Sig.) 0.174> 0.05.
