Abstract

Banyuwangi Regency is one of the regencies in East Java Province which has a diverse tourism sector. This research is located along the South Sea coast of Banyuwangi. The superiority of the Banyuwagi South Sea Beach compared to other tourism objects is that it has its uniqueness such as topography, unspoiled natural conditions and more interest by local and foreign tourists. The purpose of this study was to determine the internal and external potential of each tourist attraction, examine the constraints of tourism development, analyze tourism development strategies on the Banyuwangi South Sea Coast. The analysis used is the assessment of internal and external levels and SWOT analysis. The publication is done by making a map of the distribution of attractions and hotels and giving a description of each object using an ArcGis Online-based web map. The results obtained in this study are: (a) tourism objects that have high potential are Pulau Merah, (b) tourism objects that have medium potential are Plengkung Beach, Mangrove Bedul, Musktika Beach, Grajagan Beach, Pancur Beach, (c) objects tourism that has low potential is Sukamade, Wedi Ireng Beach, Trianggulasi Beach. Directions for tourism development based on the South Sea Coast SWOT analysis include the development of structuring tourist areas and improving environmental quality, developing tourism support facilities and improving accessibility. There are 63 hotels spread across Banyuwangi Regency that serve as supporting tourism activities. Promotion and publication are done by uploading road network data, tourist location distribution, and hotel location distribution on the ArcGis Online-based web map.
