Abstract
Background: Children grow and develop progressively. The baby is born, develops reflexes, then goes into coordinated motion, starts rolling, sitting, crawling and walking. This is what is called milestones development. Crawling movements will be achieved when the baby's maximum head control can be raised more than 900, to optimize the baby's motor development stages can be helped with the stimulation of physiotherapy since early childhood. Objective: To determine the relationship of head control to crawling patterns in infants aged 7-10 months. Research Methods: Quantitative research with observational methods. The sampling technique used was purposive simple sampling with a sample of 52 people. Data analysis techniques using the Chi-Square test. Measurement of head control motor development and crawling patterns using crawling patterns modification and Gross Motor Function Measure (GMFM). Research Results: Chi square statistical test results obtained with Pearson Chi Square results obtained p-value of 0,000 <0.05 with OR values of 156,000 and lower 8,751 and upper 2781.03, so it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between crawling patterns with head control in children aged 7 months. P-value of 0.005 <0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between crawling patterns and head control in 8-month-old children. P-value 0.182> 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between crawling patterns with head control in children aged 9 months. P-value of 0.250> 0.05, so that it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between crawling patterns and head control in children aged 10 months in the Posyandu village of Sawit. Conclusion: There is a relationship between head control and crawling patterns in infants aged 7-8 months and there is no relationship between head control and crawling patterns in infants aged 9-10 months in the Posyandu village of Sawit.
