Abstract

The mandate of Law No. 11 of 2010 concerning cultural heritage brings implementation of the meaning of protection, utilization and maintenance of cultural heritage. However, the challenges of settlement development and tourism development often threaten cultural heritage sites, both based on the conditions of cultural heritage and the historical values in them. So that geospatial protection is needed. Cultural Landscape Management and Environmental Protection uses drone instruments, gps receivers, digital camera, high-resolution image data, maps of the Prambanan cultural heritage area, RBI maps, aerial photographs and field surveys. The method used in Cultural Landscape Management and Environmental Protection in Plaosan Temple is a combined method between predictive models and zoning methods. The process of cultural landscape management and environment protection is carried out with a series of: mapping Plaosan Temple, determining zones in Plaosan Temple, validating zones with experts, designating zones of cultural heritage. The results of research on landscape management and environmental protection research in the form a predictive map of the temple plaosan cultural heritage site and integrated plaosan temple system map which aims to preserve and utilize land around the plaosan temple so that the landscape and environment can be maintained.
