Abstract

Rapid industrial development in modern times. impact on the growth of technology in various fields. No exception in the field of substation systems. At the substation the use of the latest technology is very necessary to support unresolved problems. An example is the monitoring and controlling system for oltc tap or (On Load Tap Changger) which functions as monitoring transmission lines and stabilizing the middle channel channeLED to consumers. still using a manual monitoring system and not using the latest technology, SCADA or the internet network system, because the system is still very expensive. Based on these problems the author in this research methodology conducted an experiment by making an innovation in the form of a prototype monitoring system from remotely precisely the substation, especially in the system on the Changger tap load. Who is able to do automatic work without the help of human labor. In order to provide convenience to operators at the substation in monitoring relays on the active OLTC and data collection appropriately. And it can be monitored remotely ... So it is designed to monitor the system remotely precisely with the latest technology based on IoT or (Internet of Things) based on the Arduino microcontroller. The work system of innovations made is with five input tools in the form of digital binary. to supply a minimum voltage of 110 V-380 VAC. then it is aligned with the diode with the DC that turns on the 7 segment LED. . the function of the five digital binary inputs is to turn on the output in the form of a seven segment LED, also to simulate an active Relay. namely Relay 1 to 16. For remote monitoring features, live tramition data paths, live transmission path transmission data can be transmitted wirelessly over the internet. From the tests carried out, the results obtained from this study, the prototype system for monitoring and controlling the transmission path on the oltc tap, works well as desired. This prototype is able to work on input voltages of 110V - 380 VAC without any damage to the components on the prototype. And send relay monitoring data that is active on OLTC to the internet correctly.
