Abstract
Cow blood waste is waste produced from the slaughter process carried out in the Slaughterhouse (RPH). This research aims to; 1) knowing the effectiveness of Maggot BSF (Hermetia illucens) and Caterpillar (Alphitobius diaperius) in processing vegetable waste into organic fertilizer by adding cow's blood waste through vermicomposting process, 2) knowing the pH, P content (Phospor), and K content (Potassium) organic fertilizer from the use of Maggot BSF (Hermetia illucens) and Caterpillars (Alphitobius diaperius) in processing vegetable waste into organic fertilizer by adding cow's blood waste through the vermicomposting process. This research method uses experiments with a completely randomized design (CRD) of two factors. The first factor is the type of earthworm and the second factor is the dose of cow blood waste. The results showed that 1) the effectiveness of maggot and caterpillar stable was effective in treating vegetable waste; 2) the highest pH level in giving 80 ml cow blood waste is 7.12. The highest phosphorus (P) content in 85 ml cow blood waste is 15.77 ppm. The highest potassium (K) content in giving 85 ml of cow's blood waste is 0.40%.
