Abstract

Nowadays divorce cases in Boyolali Regency are increasing every year. The average divorce case in Boyolali reaches 150 cases per month. According to the divorce couple will resolve all existing conflicts, however, not on the child's side. The impact of divorced parents can affect psychological conditions, social life and the economy. This study aims to find out how the picture of the meaningfulness of the lives of children who are victims of divorce from their parents. the meaning of life is the time when humans are able to know and determine their life goals. this study uses a phenomenological qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this study is to use the semi-structured interview method conducted to research informants. The selection of research informants was carried out using sample determination techniques with certain considerations. research informants consisted of 3 female informants and 1 male informant whose parents were divorced. The results of the study illustrate the four informants have a positive outlook and can take lessons from any grievous events regarding the divorce of their parents. Although the informants have problems that are not good, because they are looking for an escape to get happiness that they don't get at home. The positive is that the informants are able to learn from the mistakes of the past and have a desire to become a better person.
