Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the effect of inflation, human development index, investment and provincial minimum wages on employment in Indonesian in 2017. The data used is secondary data type latitude data (cross section data). The data was obtained from the Indonesian statistical center (BPS) covering Indonesia in 2017. This study uses a multiple linear regression analysis tool with the least ordinary square (OLS) method. Based on the results of the normality test analysis shows that the data are normally distributed. Linearity test results indicate that the linear model. The classic assumption test has no problems in the model. The t test of the provincial investment variable and minimum wage is significant for employment in Indonesian in 2017. The coefficient of determination is 0.5487, meaning that 54.87% of the variation in the variable of labor absorption can be explained by inflation, human development index, investment and minimum provincial wages, while the remaining 45.13% is explained by other independent variables not included in the model.
