Abstract

This research is the development of learning media using moodle and applying the blended learning method by using moodle to help improve the learning effectiveness of students at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Klaten. The research method in this study uses Research and Development (R&D). The procedure in this study is the stage of problem identification, data collection information, determining the design, conducting media validation, media revision, material validation, material revision, student trials, product revisions, and final products. The results of this study indicate that the percentage of the feasibility of the average value of media experts is 79.55% which is included in the feasible category, and material experts are 75% which is included in the feasible category. While by 16 students using the SUS questionnaire in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Klaten itself obtained 71.25% results included in the Acceptable category. The average test results of the student pre-test score was 58.75% and post-test was 81.87%, an increase of 23.12%. The conclusion of this research is the use of a moodle-based blended learning method suitable for use in basic graphic design subjects, as well as effective to help improve students' understanding of material and learning outcomes.
