Abstract
This research is to find out the role of the mentoring AIK program in enhancing the ability to read the Al-Qur'an students held at the Faculty of Islamic Studies at Muhammadiyah University in improving the ability to read Al-Qur'an students. This type of research entered into quantitative research with descriptive methods. The subjects of this research were participants in Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan Mentoring. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Based on the results of the research that has been conducted, the implementation of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan Mentoring activities at the Faculty of Islamic Studies at the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta provides a pretty good role in improving the ability of students to read the Qur'an. Mentoring of the Faculty of Islamic Religion from the beginning has worked in accordance with the position and is expected in fostering Islamicism for students through halaqah BTA, Tahsin, and Tahfidz, Mentoring FAI has also socialized the activities to be carried out from the beginning of the activity to the end of the activity. good for FAI students where data obtained 60.00% of the total respondents claimed to get benefits after participating in AIK mentoring activities. And from the research findings, it was found that 57.77% of mentoring participants stated that their ability to read Al-Qur'an increased after participating in mentoring activities.
