Abstract
Drop hand is an emphasis on the radial nerve or it can also be known as paralysis of the radial nerve which causes a decrease in the wrist that starts from C5-C8 which coils laterally to the elbow. The radial nerve innervates the forearm supinator muscle which causes the brachioradial reflex to disappear, and nerve extensor muscles such as fingers, wrists, elbows (triceps). Objective of this research are to determine the benefits of ES (Electrical stimulation) and exercise therapy in the form of passive exercise and active assisted for enhancing extensor muscle strength, increasing the range of motion of the wrist joint, and improving functional abilities in cases of extra drop hand e.c radial nerve lesions. After 4 treatments, the results were an increase in muscle strength with Manual Muscle Testing (MMT). Followed by an increase in the scope of motion of the wrist joint was assessed by goniometer so that it could increase the functional ability of patients assessed by the wrist hand disability index (WHDI). The provision of physiotherapy interventions in the form of ES and exercise therapy in the form of passive exercise and active assisted results showed increased muscle strength, increased joint motion range, and increased functional ability
