Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation process of adoption of children at the Yasasan Babysitting and Baby Care (YPAB) Permata Hati Surakarta, as well as to determine the legal consequences and legal protection for the child after being appointed. The method of approach that the author uses is sociological or empirical legal research. This type of research used by the author in this study is to use a descriptive research type. The location of the study was Yasasan Child and Infant Care (YPAB) Permata Hati Surakarta. Data collection methods in this study used literature study and field study techniques. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the implementation process of adoption of children there are 7 stages and the process of binding children in Yasasan Child and Infant Care (YPAB) Permata Hati Surakarta is in accordance with social ministerial regulation number 110? Huk / 2009. The consequences arising after the adoption process of the child of adopted children is a legal consequence of inheritance and guardianship. Lack of legal protection in Indonesia for adopted children.
