Abstract

INTERVENTION PHYSIOTHERAPY IN THE CASE OF TRIGGER THUMB SINISTRA IN HOSPITAL BAGAS WARAS KLATEN (Wahyu Rizki Fajar Rabbani, 2019, 40 Pages) ABSTRACT Background : Trigger thumb is a condition where there is a narrowing of tenosynovitis in the flexor tendon and its layers. Narrowing of tenosynovitis due to flexor thickening is the cause of this disease. At first the shock occurs because of a blockage at the entrance of the tendon layer. Objective: to determine the implementation of Physiotherapy in reducing pain, increasing the scope of joint motion in the case of a left thumb trigger using ultrasound modalities and active resisted movement. Results : After 3 sessions of therapy, the results of pain assessment at T1 to T3 were obtained from a scale of 1.8 to 0. There was also a decrease in tenderness in T1 to T3 from a scale of 6.3 to 2.4. And also the reduction in motion pain at T1 to T3 from scale 4.7 to 2.1. Then an increase in Joint Motion Scope S: T1: 0 ° - 0 ° - 30 °, becomes T3: 0 ° - 0 ° - 36 °. Conclusion : Ultrasound can reduce pain in Trigger Thumb Sinistra condition, and Active Resisted Movement can increase Joint Motion Scope in the Trigger Thumb Sinistra case.
