Abstract
Working, for elderly or someone who is older than 60 is difficult and not a lot of them done it, however it brings well-being for them. This research’s purpose is to understand about subjective well-being for elderly people who are still working despite their age. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The data was collected through interview to six informants, whose characteristics are (a) elder with more than 60 years age, (b) working actively, and (c) lived in Surakarta Region. Later, we used thematic analysis to analyzed the data. This research has found that there are factors which indicates subjective well-being in elderly who are still working, such as self-acceptance, proud of him/her-self that still useful for the family despite their age, positive relationship with others, and always grateful for every result they got from work.
