Abstract

Abstract The background in this study is the lack of aqidah education in children both in school and in the family environment, so not a few children are lacking in understanding aqidah, both in theory and its application. Children in their development are indeed obliged to get religious education implanted in themselves since childhood. This religious education aims to foster a sense of trust in Allah SWT who always pays attention to them. Thus it will form a good personality and virtuous towards everything that children meet. So through the planting of the values of aqidah in foster children are expected to provide provisions for foster children in order to have a strong faith and piety to Allah swt, to form the morality of karimah and istiqomah in worship. The formulation of the problem in this research is how to instill the values of aqidah in foster children. The purpose of this study is to describe the planting of aqeedah values in foster children and This type of research is field research, and the approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. This data source was obtained from the results of observations, interviews, and documentation to the Head of the Orphanage, caretakers, caregivers and foster children at the Orphanage Orphanage of Muhammadiyah Sragen. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation and documentation, researchers wrote data analysis with data reduction, data display. And data verification. The results of this study indicate that the planting of aqidah values in foster children in the Yatom Muhammadiyah Sragen orphanage is successfully implemented and understood by foster children who have made compulsory prayer a necessity in a timely manner, in conducting prayers both at the orphanage and outside the orphanage, foster children accustomed to reading the Qur'an after the obligatory prayers, foster children who try to be honest at all times.
