Abstract

This study aims to analyze the condition of the company using the Altman Z-Score method and determine the value of the Altman Z-Score ratio of pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015 until 2018. The sample in this study were nine companies. This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The results of the study show that: (1) PT. Indofarma Tbk is in an unhealthy condition and is included in the category of bankruptcy. (2) PT. Kimia Farma Tbk and PT. Merck Sharp Dohme Pharma Tbk is in the category of gray area or prone. (3) PT. Darya Varia Laboratoria Tbk, PT. Kalbe Farma Tbk, PT. Merck Indonesia Tbk, PT. Pyridam Farma Tbk, PT. The Herbal & Medicine Industry Sido Muncul Tbk, PT. Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk is in a healthy condition because it has a cut off value of Z > 2.99.
