Abstract

Being a practicum course’s assistent for student is a valuable experience because student will get additional skill in education, social and organization which will be needed for stepping up to the working environment. Besides duty to help lecturer in practicum process, practicum course’s assistenta are a connector between lecturer and students as well. Based on survey which been done, practicum course’s assistents experience burnout. Burnout is really possible to be pressed by the self concept and social support from co-workers, friends and family. This studi aims to know relationship to burnout with self-concept and social support. The hypothesis propose to prove there is a relationship to burnout with celf-concept and social support. Sampling technique of this study is a population study. Data collection methods use quantitative approach with measuring scale burnout, self-concept and social support. Data analysis was carried out by multiple regression analysis by using help SPSS for 16 windows. The result of the analysis obtained F statistic (F) values of 51,618 with significant values of p= 0,000 which means there is significant relationship to self-concept and social support with burnout; Sig. (1-tailed) burnout as 0,000 with self-concept value of Pearson correlation as -0,699 and social support of Pearson correlation as -0,673, it proves that there is a significant negative relationship to burnout with self-concept and social support.
