Abstract

ABSTRACT Job satisfaction is one of the important aspects in the management of Human Resources (HR). Job satisfaction is considered by all institutions, because high job satisfaction will increase the progress and productivity of an organization. This study aims to analyze the influence of job characteristics, work environment, and work motivation on job satisfaction. The type of data in this study is primary data in the form of a questionnaire that has been distributed to employees of the production department of PT Deltomed Laboratories as many as 90 respondents who were determined using proportional stratified random sampling. The analytical tool used in this study is the validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, and hypothesis testing using SPSS 20 software. The results of the analysis show that job characteristics have a significant effect on job satisfaction, the work environment has a significant effect on job satisfaction, and work motivation has no significant effect on job satisfaction.
