Abstract

The current density of society makes housing needs even greater, especially in big city like Solo City. This makes the existing land even narrower because the community's needs for shelter or shelter become large. The design is intended for occupancy that has a narrow or limited area such as boarding house or boarding house to carry out activities related to the furniture to be designed. Starting from observing the needs of the user then collecting data and literature related to the problem that has been observed, then looking for ideas about the design that will be made from similar products to find concepts that are used as problem boundaries, to making products with a scale of 1: 1. So that the product can be tested to be optimized, so that the multifunctional furniture functions associated include the functions of bed facilities, learning or working facilities and efficient storage with product conformity to function and ergonomics.
