Abstract
ABSTRACT The role of small industries from year to year has increased in the demand for labor and reduced the number of unemployed people with the jobs they created. This can be seen from the industry average which can absorb employment by 90% of the total This study aims to analyze the effect of Regional Minimum Wages, Number of Business Units, Output Values and Investment Value on Absorption of Labor in Small Industries. The data used in this study is the annual data for the period of 2013 - 2015. Analysis of the data used is secondary data of 5 districts / cities in Yogyakarta Province. Data analysis used is panel data analysis with fixed effect model. The results of the study show that: 1) regional minimum wages have no significant effect on employment. 2) the number of business units has a significant effect on the absorption of small industry employment. 3) the output value has a significant effect on the absorption of small industrial labor. 4) negative investment and have a significant effect on the absorption of small industry employment Keywords : Labor, Regional Minimum Wage, Business Unit, Output Value, Value of Invesment
