Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between stress levels and sleep quality in 2017-2018 Transfer Physiotherapy S1 students at Muhammadiyah University Surakarta. This study was an observational analytic study with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all undergraduate students of 2017-2018 Physiotherapy Transfer Faculty of Health, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta, with as many samples was 140 samples. The analysis is used to determine the relationship of two variables, between the independent variable and the dependent variable which has a correlation with using the Chi-Square statistical test. The results of this study indicate that the frequency distribution of stress levels in 2017-2018 Transfer Physiotherapy S1 students at Muhammadiyah University Surakarta, the majority of respondents have severe stress levels as many as 75 respondents or by 53.6%. The frequency distribution of sleep quality in 2017-2018 Transfer Physiotherapy S1 students at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta, it is known that most respondents have poor sleep quality, which is 119 respondents or 85.0%. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the results of the Asymp test. Sig. (2-sided) of 0, 286> α (0.05), this means that Ho is accepted, which means there is no relationship between stress levels and sleep quality in 2017-2018 S1 Transfer Physiotherapy Students of Muhammadiyah University Surakarta.
