Abstract

ABSTRACT In the year 2015 Jaten District KUA, Karaganyar there are 360 couples who will marry 5-10% of prospective couples are known to have been pregnant first and in Palur in 2015 to 2017 there are 8 teenagers who marry at the age of 18-22 due to pregnant marriage The research aims to understand and describe the psychological wellbeing of teenagers married by accident. This research uses qualitative methods. The research informant of 3 women is chosen using purposive sampling technique with adolescent criteria married by accident aged 18-22 years and family. Data collection uses semi-structured interviewing method, data analysis methods using thematic and narrative-descriptive techniques to explain the results of the research. Based on the results of the analysis can be concluded that the teenager who is married by accident has psychological well being after marriage and childbirth that is having compassion toward husband and child so that it has empaty with others, has Future plans as well being able to adapt mothers ,wives and be able to work. Previously, the informant had feeling of sadness, disappointment, stress, surprise, shame, regret and fear of being scolded by the parents when he first found out he was pregnant outside of marriage. When he saw the reaction of parents when he learned that he was pregnant outside of marriage, the informant had feeling of sadness, was disappointed by him for not being obedient to the elderly and felt that he could not be happy with the parents. Moreover, looking at environmental reactions makes the informant have feelings of shame, disappointment, sadness and distress. Keywords : married by accident, Psychological well being, teens
