Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the parameters used on the frequency level of management of the National Road section, to know the influence of Pusat Kegiatan Nasional (PKN) on the traffic volume of the National Road section and to know the frequency of the management level of the National Road section because Sleman Regency is a strategic area in the Province Special Region of Yogyakarta. Adisucipto Airport, which is one of the main air access and road networks that connect outside the province, is one of the strategic values of Sleman Regency. The research method used was a survey marked by the existence of samples for each frequency level of management of the National Road section. The method of analysis in this study uses spatial analysis in the form of overlay of each parameter that has been given the previous value. The parameters used to represent non-traffic factors are slope, soil texture, soil drainage, and the parameters used to represent traffic factors are traffic volume. The results of this study provide information on the frequency of management levels of each National Road section with low, medium and high class. The difference in frequency of the level of management of the National Road section is caused by non-traffic factors and traffic factors on a road section. Non-traffic factors that play a major role in influencing differences in the frequency of management levels are soil texture and soil drainage. PKN has a significant influence on the difference in traffic volume which is the traffic factor used in this study.
