Abstract
Grounding systems are often called grounding is a system of security against tools or installations connected to electricity as a source. Where electrical devices are connected to the earth so that they can secure the components of installation and human safety from the danger of electrical interference. Grounding system or grounding is a significant part of the electric power system. Therefore it is necessary to do manual calculations to determine the value of touch voltage and step voltage safe for electrical and human installations, especially workers in the Bawen Substation. In this study the author uses the literature method of collecting and retrieving data relating to touch voltage, step voltage and the voltage moved which was in the Bawen 150 kV substation. For the results of this study it is known that the value of ground resistance in Bawen Substation has a 0.3 ohm yield for less than 2019. In the manual calculation this study produces results namely the maximum allowable touch voltage of 656 V and the value of maximum touch voltage the actual value is 109.02 V, and the value of the allowable step voltage is 3116 V and the value of the actual touch voltage is 1947.78 V, the last being the value of moving voltage 81.19 kV. These values are calculated manually and based on several theories related to these results.
