Abstract

Sangiran Museum Tourism Objects have potential large enough to be developed due to unique tourism potential, that is the only of the largest fossil Museums in Central Java in Sragen district. Kalijambe Sub-district has several Clusters but many visiors are more interesed in the Krikilan Cluster. Sangiran museum tourism in the Krikilan Cluster is more complete, although to get to the Museum tourism Sangiran is very constrained on public Transportation, but there are still many visitors who come. The development of facilities in the Sangiran Museum has been completed such as the tower of view, homestay, audio visual, playground, guide, souvenir shop and mini car facilities. The purpose of this study was to analyze the development of the number of visitors to Sangiran tourism from 2013 and 2017, and analyze the characteristics of tourists on days and holidays. The method used is the Survey method, using the Accidental Samplingmethod. The data needed are primary data and secondary data. The results showed data on the number of visitors obtained from 2013 and 2017 experienced an increase in the number of visitors by 97,981 people. Classification of tourist destinations in Sragen Regency, visitors to Sangiran Museum tourism which increase every year from inside (domestic) and from outside (international) Sangiran Museum becomes a magnet in Kalijambi District, Sragen Regency.
