Abstract
This paper contains a discussion of comics that contains criticisms of one person or certain parties that are delivered in a humorous way made by Ade Lukman and uploaded to the Instagram account @komikluks. Social criticism generally contains a scathing satire that is difficult to accept in the hearts of the public, but @komikluks makes criticism something entertaining and acceptable in the community through comics uploaded on social media. The purpose of this study is to find out how humorous social criticism messages in the form of comics are delivered on the @komikluks Instagram account. The method used in this data collection is qualitative research that emphasizes the content of information that can be either an image or text. Social criticism analysis techniques using intertextual theory using text from other sources as a material for understanding social criticism by analyzing comic elements, namely characters, texts, and contexts. For the analysis of humor in comics, use the theory of changes in the meaning of humor. The humor contained in the comics is included in the categorization of meaning changes. The humor contained in the comics is included in the categorization of meaning changes. Changes in meaning are shifts in meaning that occur due to developmental factors of time, time, language, one's outlook, and others. . The results of this study indicate that criticism can also be conveyed through humorous comics uploaded on Instagram social media. Social criticism delivered humorously becomes a tool in conveying criticism so that it is easily accepted in the hearts of the wider community.
