Abstract

This research aims to find out: (1) The development of documentary film Media on natural disaster-prone materials, and (2) the influence of documentaries against student learning outcomes in class XI SMA N 1 Prambanan. This is research and development and use 4D model of development that modified into 3D in the form of define, design, and development. The subject of this study is XI IPS Class 1 and XI IPS 2 in SMA N 1 Prambanan. Sampling techniques using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using the interview techniques and questionnaires. The validity of data using the source technique triangulation includes media experts, material experts, and learners. Data analysis techniques use quantitative descriptive. The results obtained by the researchers are (1) the development of documentary film media using Adobe Premiere CC Pro 2017 software, with the acquisition of material experts and media experts at 93.5 with categories worthy of use in natural disaster prone materials in SMA N 1 Prambanan (2 ) The acquisition of T-Test test showed that the significant value in the class of Sig experiment (2 tailed) 0.000 then H0 rejected which means there is the influence of documentary on the outcome of students learning in class XI IPS SMA N 1 Prambanan.
