Abstract

This study aims at 1) knowing the potential of TPA Candirejo and the relationship with spatial complexity 2) knowing the social, environmental characteristics around the Candirejo TPA. The research method is the survey method and instrument by using a questionnaire (questionnaire), while the selection of research areas is random. Sampling by census which respondents are choosen by 15. The results of this study indicate that from the research data obtained at TPA Candirejo, Kecamatan Ngawen, Klaten Regency, the leased land has ended and transferred to the Trotoketon TPA in Pedan District, Klaten Regency until now, but before being transferred to the Trotoketon landfill. Candirejo TPA still has some potential in terms of the environment from the TPA Candirejo field still using Open Dumping to hoard or recycle garbage repeatedly the volume of waste generation averages 3.10% per year increasing with increasing population and other potential social, health and economic this factor is very important for people with low economies.
