Abstract
UD. Jaya Group is one of the vermicelli noodle producers in Daleman, Klaten. In its production activities, companies still use traditional methods that directly involve workers. Work accidents that occur in work stations can affect the continuity of production and company finances. the absence of adequate personal protective equipment can exacerbate impacts arising from workplace accidents. This research was conducted to identify the risk of work accidents and determine control measures that can be implemented in companies using Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC). The JSA method is used in risk identification based on activities at the work station, while the HIRARC method is used in the process of identifying, evaluating and controlling each work accident risk. The results of the analysis by JSA show that from 5 work stations with 18 activities, there were 29 risks of work accidents. The results of the HIRARC analysis show that there are 29 categories of work accident risk, namely 1 work risk in the low risk category, 5 work risks in the moderate risk category, 19 work risks in the high risk category, and 3 work risks in the extreme risk category. Risk management that can be applied in the form of the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), the provision of signs, and preventive measures.
