Abstract

The development of industrial automation systems began in the 20th century, where most companies engaged in the manufacturing industry were required to be able to automate production systems in order to achieve safe and efficient production activities in a sustainable manner. Crane is one of the material handling that is often used in material transfer activities both on an industrial and non-industrial scale. Rapid Prototyping is a technique used to form a product in a fast way with integration between CAD (Computer Aided Design) systems and machines with Rapid Prototyping (3D Printer) systems. This study aims to make material handling crane trainers using the Rapid Prototyping method, using an Arduino-based control system. The results of this study are the making of learning tools and modules.
