Abstract

This study aims to describe the analysis of errors in the use of standard language vocabulary and the factors underlying the errors in the description essay. This type of research is qualitative research. The object of this research is the results of class VII A. The source of the data in this study is the students of State Junior High School 3 SawitBoyolali class VII A. Obtaining data by taking data using observation techniques, interviews, documentation, and document analysis. The results of the identification of the errors that have been obtained, then processed through technical data analysis with the method of the method and the equivalent method. The results obtained in this study were written by students of VII grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Sawit Boyolali identified based on the type of error. The type of error is the use of prepositions, words that are not thrifty, prefixes, endings, rephrases, conjunctions, and basic words.
