Abstract
This study aims to analyze GDP, investment, provincial minimum wage, and government expenditure against employment in the manufacturing industry sector of Indonesia in 2017. This study uses secondary data type latitude data (cross section), the data was obtained from the central statistics agency (BPS) which includes 34 provinces of Indonesia in 2017. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis with ordinary least square (OLS) method. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, the normality test is normally distributed. Linearity tests are used linearly. The classic assumption is that there are no problems in the model. The t test of GDP and provincial minimum wage variable have a significant effect on employment in the manufacturing industry sector in 34 provinces of Indonesia. R2=0,8781, meaning that 87,81% of the variable variation in employment in the manufacturing industry sector can be explained by variables of GDP, investment, provincial minimum wage, and government expenditure. While the remaining 12,19% are influenced by other independent variables not included in the model.
