Abstract

Parenting is the attitude and way that parents do in providing education, protection, attention and guidance to their children in daily life, so that children can make decisions and act on their own, so that children do not depend on parents. While moral development is a serious effort that is carried out consciously and planned in shaping human beings having good attitudes and behaviors, which are sourced from the human heart and manifest in daily behavior. This study discusses the Parenting Parents in Fostering Early Adolescents in Dukuhan Hamlet RT 2/3, Nglorog Village, Sragen District, Sragen Regency. Aims to describe the parenting applied by parents in fostering the morals of early adolescents and identifying the methods used by parents in fostering the morals of early adolescents. This research is a qualitative research which took a field study in Dukuhan Hamlet RT 2/3 Nglorog Village. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation from various primary and secondary data sources. And the analysis carried out by the inductive method that is departing from the data or the results of research is then linked to theories created as a foundation for thinking. Based on the results of research that has been done by researchers, the researchers can draw the conclusion that parents in the hamlet apply a varied parenting style, namely the Authoritarian Parenting Pattern applied by Mr. Purwanto, this is marked by his caring for children with strict rules, demanding children to follow all the parents will and tend to provide physical punishment. The Democratic Foster Pattern is applied by Mr. Sunarno and Mr. Sukamdi. This is indicated by the child not being given too strict rules, but the child is given a little freedom to do what he wants and in making decisions is always considered together. Whereas Permissive Parenting is implemented by Mr. Suparjo, which is characterized by caring for children using loose rules, giving full freedom to children to act according to their wishes. Then the methods used by parents in fostering the morals of early adolescents in the Hamlet are dominated by the habituation method and the advisory method, these methods are used by all families in the Hamlet Village, the Families of Mr. Sunarno, Mr Sukamdi, Mr Suparjo and Mr Purwanto. In addition, the exemplary method and the punishment method are used by Mr. Purwanto, Mr Sunarno and Mr Sukamdi, while the story or story method is only used by Mr Sunarno.
