Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that affect the volume of Indonesian palm oil (CPO) exports which include land area, palm oil production, international prices and the exchange rate of the rupiah against the US dollar. The type of data used is secondary data with a time series (Time Series) from 1998-2018 with multiple regression analysis tools using the Error Correction Model (ECM) approach. The F Test results show that the variable land area, production, international prices and exchange rates in the short term do not have a significant effect on the volume of Indonesian palm oil (CPO) exports. In the long run the variable that has a significant effect on the volume of exports of Indonesian palm oil (CPO) is international prices and exchange rates. While the variable area of land and production does not have a significant effect on the volume of Indonesian palm oil (CPO) exports.
