Annisa Nur Rachmawati / A510150016. INTERNALIZATION OF SOCIAL CARE CHARACTER THROUGH TADABBUR AL QUR'AN ACTIVITIES IN AL BALAD LETTER AT MI MUHAMMADIYAH GONILAN KARTASURA. Thesis. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. July, 2019. School is not only educational institutions that teach students to read, write, and count but school also instill good and deep character education to the students. MI MuhammadiyahGonilanbecomes one of the educational institutions that integrate the general science and religion science especially in Holy Qur’an surah Al-Balad review activity. The activity makes students not only read and memorize the surah, but students also can implement the surah meanings on their daily activities. The purposes of this research are to knowing about, 1) strategy to internalize social caring characters through Holy Qur’an surah al-Balad review activity at MI Muhammadiyah Gonilan Kartasura. 2) Constraints that arise in the internalization of socially caring characters through Holy Qur'an activities in surah al-Balad review at MI Muhammadiyah Gonilan Kartasura. The type of this research is qualitative research with case study research design. Data collection techniques used was interviews, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed through interactive analysis which included data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The data validity technique is done by source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of the research showed that: 1) The strategy of internalizing the character of social care through the Holy Qur'an surah al-Balad review at MI Muhammadiyah Gonilan Kartasura consisted of knowledge, exemplary, habituation, appreciation and sanctions. 2) Constraints that arise in the internalization of the character of social care through the Holy Qur'an review activities in surah al-Balad at MI Muhammadiyah Gonilan Kartasura are the manners, study of surah al Balad, and administration.
