Abstract
Power Transformer has function of transmitting power from high voltage to low voltage or instead. Stages to maintain the reliability and quality of electrical power systems needed a method to minimize interference to power transformers. This inrush current disorder often occurs on power transformers at the time of energization. The inrush current spike contains a fairly high value that arises when the transformer is operated. To minimize the interruption of inrush current on the power transformer required the Sequential Phase Energization (SPE) method This method implements a prisoner scheme on a neutral scant. This is because inrush currents are not balanced in each phase. Analysis is done to reduce the inrush current on the power transformer by monitoring the current surge that instantly has a value exceeding the normal current. Then determine the setting of the Sequential Phase Energization (SPE) method to reduce the presence of inrush currents The Sequential Phase Enegization (SPE) method uses simulated Alternative Transient Program-Electromagnetic Transient Program (ATP-EMTP) applications in determining the inrush current reduction. The use of the Sequential Phase Energization (SPE) method reduces inrush current at the three phases in the 2 transformer by 4,36%.
