Abstract

PREVENTION OF BULLYING BEHAVIOR THROUGH ANTIBULLYING PROGRAM IN MI MUHAMMADIYAH KARTASURA SPECIAL PROGRAM. This study aims to find out: 1) Describe the bullying behavior that occurs in MI Muhammadiyah PK Kartasura, 2) Describe the implementation of the antibullying program, 3) Describe the obstacles in carrying out the anti-bullying program, 4) Describe the solution to deal with obstacles in the implementation of the antibullying program. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a case study research design. The informants of this research are the principal and teachers. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed through the steps of data reduction, presentation, and verification. The data validity checking technique is triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. The results showed (1) bullying behavior that occurred including mocking, calling with certain nicknames, cheering, hitting, kicking, flicking, spitting, isolating, threatening, (2) The implementation of an antibullying program that is by socializing applicable regulations and enforcement of penalties, ( 3) Obstacles that exist during the program include; a lot of school programs, making class rules and general school rules, the attitude of teachers who feel sorry for students, acts of bullying that occur outside the teacher's control during breaks, attitudes of responsibility in enforcing rules and punishment, parental involvement, (4) Solutions of the obstacles that existed during the program including, a special team was needed to handle and supervise the running of the program, socialization to students and parents, increased coordination between teachers, peer support was needed to deal with bullying that occurred outside the teacher's control, mutual support between teachers to enforce existing rules and penalties, Coordination with parents
