Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine where the source of capital came from and how the capital management system was applied by entrepreneurs in the Trangsan rattan industry center, Sukoharjo Regency. This type of research is qualitative with a case study and ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the data collection stage, the data reduction stage, the data presentation stage, the conclusion drawing stage. The validity of the data uses triangulation of sources which compares the results of observations with the results of interviews with different sources. The object of this research is entrepreneurs at the Trangsan rattan industry center. Resource persons examined, namely Mr. Punky Pratama, Mr Suryanto, Mr Sarjito, Mr Eko, Mr Rofi’i. The results of this study indicate that of the five entrepreneurs having different sources of capital, three entrepreneurs use personal capital sources, one entrepreneur uses bank loan capital, and one entrepreneur uses personal capital and bank loan capital. Capital management system 2 for the five companies. namely the planning stage in the form of carefulness in arranging raw materials up to employee salaries, the stage of allocation of fixed assets in the form of purchasing raw materials, the most important priority stage which is more used, and the saving or cash stage in the form of allowance for money to save.
