Abstract

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a term used to describe chronic lung disease that results in air flow in the lungs. Symptoms that often occur in cases of COPD are shortness of breath, chronic cough, and excessive mucus production. To determine the benefits of nebulizer and diaphragmatic breathing exercise in the case of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). After 3 times the therapy was obtained, the results were an increase in thoracic cage expansion difference measured from axilla T1: 2 cm to T3: 3 cm, from ICs 4 T1: 2 cm to 3 cm, from xyphoid process T1: 2 cm to 3 cm. Provision of nebulizer modality and diaphragmatic breathing exercise can increase thoracic cage expansion in cases of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
