Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe the form of language errors that occur in the final semester semester (UAS) Indonesian Language test. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that presents research results in the form of descriptive explanations about language errors in the final semester exam (UAS) of Indonesian language in 2018. Data collection techniques use the technique of listening and note taking, while the method of data analysis uses a matching method whose refensal uses power sort referents as a determining tool. While the presentation of the results of data analysis uses the informal presentation method. The results of this study have found 58 language errors in the final semester (UAS) test for Indonesian language in the 2018 high school level, which included 46 language errors in the phonology field, 2 errors in the morphology field, and 10 data related to language errors in the syntax field. The correct questions have been arranged by type of language error. Conclusions based on the results of data analysis show that the question writers have not been thorough and careful in writing questions so that language errors are still found that affect the quality of the questions, as well as the most dominant language errors in Indonesian language questions in high school 2018 are errors in the field of phonology, as many as 46 errors .
