Abstract
Islamic Boarding School of MTsN Surakarta 2 has a very prominent learning that is in learning Tahfidz Al-Qur'an, because in the world of education it is operationally the duty and obligation of Muslims to always maintain and maintain the Qur'an, one of which is to memorize it . But the situation in modern times, there are still few Muslims who want to memorize the Qur'an. To attract their interest is the need for a systematic Tahfidz Al-Qur’an learning method to support their success in memorizing the Qur'an. This Research is field research. Data collection methods used interviews, observation, and documentation. The analytical method used data collection, summarizing data, presenting data, and conclusions. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers. So the researcher can draw the conclusion that: The method used in the learning of Tahfidz Al-Qur'an at Boarding School there is no particular method because the Teacher there uses the tahfidz method from the Takmirul Islamic Boarding School, which is the initial stage of prayer then memorizes it individually and then after the memorization is completed, it is deposited to his Teacher. The application of the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an learning method at the Boarding School, with the application of the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an learning method, is expected to have a good impact on the student and their understanding of the importance of learning the Qur'an in human life as Muslims . Every learning of the Qur'an is expected to have a positive impact on students and can practice the Qur'an in daily life. Factors that support and hinder the implementation of the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an learning method at the Boarding School are from the depend factors of Tahfidz Al-Qur'an, the name is Internal Factors , talent, Student motivation, intelligence, suitable age. External factors are the availability of qira'ah teachers and tahfidz teachers (instructors), time management and restrictions on Al-Qur'an learning, social environment (organization, Boarding and family). Then from the factors inhibiting the implementation of the Taḥfidẓ Al-Qur'an Internal Factors are, lack of interest and talent, lack of motivation from themselves, many sins and immorality, health that is often disrupted, low intelligence. Then the external factor is, the instructor's way of providing guidance, economic ability problems, the density of material students must learn.
