Abstract

This study aims to find out: 1) Implementation of the Tahfidz Al-Quran and Arbain Hadith Programs at the Klaten Putra Muhammadiyah Boarding School Islamic Boarding School; 2) factors of friendship and support in the implementation of the Tahfidz Al Quran and Arbain Hadith programs at the Klaten Putra Muhammadiyah Boarding School Islamic Boarding School. The type of research used is qualitative research based on field analysis rather than statistical calculations. Data obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis.The results of this study indicate, the implementation of the Tahfidz Al Quran and Hadith Arbain program at the Klaten Putra Muhammadiyah Boarding School Islamic Boarding School which starts from class VII to class XII with a target of 1 juz every year starting from juz 30, 29, 28, 1, 2 and so on. In one week the santri meet face to face with 11 hours. The method used by most santri is talaqqi. Meanwhile, at the end of each year, a tahfidz test is conducted with the material in accordance with the class level. Tahfidz Hadith Arbain with a one-year target was able to be completed well. The factors that influence the tahfidz program are divided into two parts, namely: supporting factors and inhibiting factors. The supporting factors of Tahfidz Al-Quran and Arbain Hadith are good physical and psychic santri, support from the parents, rewards or awards, facilities, while the factors that inhibit the implementation of the Tahfidz Al Quran and Hadith Arbain programs are the utilization of time given to santri and feeling lazy.From the results of this study, it is expected to be able to contribute and information material for the treasury of knowledge and input for the academic community and all those who need it in the environment of the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Muhammadiyah University Surakarta.
